Program description
In the two-year (four semesters) General Arts and Science diploma program, you'll build abilities for advanced studies, including university transfer and professional specialization. The program encompasses Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science. It stresses research and writing, oral communications, and critical thinking, preparing students for work and later vocational and university education.
You'll learn about and discuss many subjects. Interdisciplinary techniques let you study and apply concepts to people, the environment, and the workplace.
The graduate can:

Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- grade 12 English (C or U)
English language proficiency
- George Brown English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program - Level 8;
- IELTS (Academic) - 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band;
- TOEFL - 80 (online) minimum 20 in each skill band;
- Duolingo English Test - 105;
- MELAB - 80;
- PTE (Academic) - 54, overall minimum, 50 in each skill band;
- CAEL - 60 (overall);
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency) - 169 or more (with no individual skill below 162).
