Program description
Our comprehensive Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) graduate certificate program is ideal for those seeking a career as a trained dispute resolution specialist or agent representing parties in community disputes, labor grievances, government accountability office complaints, and court and tribunal representation.
The program teaches negotiation, mediation, and arbitration basics through intensive workshops and community interaction. Administrative tribunals, judicial dispute resolution, community mediation, health care conflict resolution, family law, employment/labor law, community law, and conflict management system design are covered in the program. Students apply these concepts to family dynamics, company conflicts, health sector stakeholder conflicts, and community-government interactions.
This curriculum is ideal for recent college graduates interested in government, social work, education, health care, human resources, insurance, community groups, and law.
