Program description
If you are interested in working to alleviate global injustices, you may want to choose Humber's International Development graduate certificate program. The program is shaped by the industry's current trend toward localization and the need to form genuine partnerships with agencies in the Global South in a post-colonial world. Students in this management program will get the practical and soft skills sought after by business associates in the field, preparing them to launch and expand relief and development initiatives on a worldwide scale. Courses designed to prepare managers for careers in international development often cover a wide range of current events, including but not limited to climate change, gender inequality, and violence.
Many of the faculty members who teach at Humber on a part-time basis also have active professional relationships with a wide range of international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and UN agencies, demonstrating their dedication to both the academic and professional aspects of international development.
