Program description
Humber's graduate certificate in user experience (UX) design models the multidisciplinary methodologies needed to innovate with design attractiveness, technical feasibility, and financial viability. You'll learn to identify, comprehend, and solve challenges in two semesters through design research, synthesis, and prototype, ready you to create. After the course, you will be able to create relevant hypotheses about design challenges, manage your design process, create engaging UX deliverables, and make persuasive arguments.
Studying human-centered design approaches and vocabulary will ensure your designs meet public needs. Interaction design, design systems, industry-standard quality assurance procedures, and business strategy-driven user interface creation and implementation are all discussed. You may improve your UX design skills through theory and practice.
As a user experience designer, you'll prototype ways to integrate digital services with real products and environments. Usability tests will inform your user experience study, benefiting your business clients and their customers. You will create a portfolio of your work and program expertise to launch your user experience design career. In-class studio spaces, case studies, peer-to-peer learning, live client work, and a field experience give this curriculum the practical discipline, relevance, and currency needed in the rising UX job market.
