Program description
Website and web service creation for many platforms, including database-driven programming, content management systems, and mobile services, is the main focus of Humber's Web creation graduate certificate program. Your education will equip you with the theoretical background and hands-on experience necessary to design and construct websites that are both beautiful and functional.
You will practice working together in groups and on your own, just like you would in the real world, to prepare you for a career in the workforce. Applying theories of user-centered design, security, information architecture, accessibility, quality assurance testing, and responsive design, you will build commercial websites. Gaining proficiency in project management and public speaking—two abilities crucial to professional success—is the goal of this curriculum.
Websites you work on will have to adhere to stringent business and development standards. You will have compiled a thorough portfolio of your competencies by the conclusion of your last semester of school, and you will be prepared to showcase them at a portfolio exhibition.
