Do you have any dreams of becoming a baker? Our two-year degree in Baking and Pastry Arts Management at Humber provides excellent education that is enjoyable, imaginative, and fulfilling. As they gain knowledge and expertise in the bake labs under the direction and supervision of international pastry chef experts, our pupils are beaming with joy.
This two-year diploma program equips you for an endless career. You will learn how to create and sell your own baked items in addition to gaining essential skills in practical baking. We constantly search for methods to include social media and visual elements into our lab experiences, and as one of the most active baking programs, we also teach you how to showcase your baked goods to the world! With confidence, our alumni entered the workforce, and many of them succeeded in unexpected and cutting-edge fields like product development, food styling, and sales and marketing

Requirements for applicants
International Academic Equivalencies:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
- Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)
- Three Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above
or
- Mature student status
or
- College or university transfer status
For Indian applicants one of the following:
- All India Senior School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Year 12 State Board Exams with a minimum grade of 70 or above in required program subjects.
- Applicants who previously completed post-secondary education require to provide backlog summary. Maximum backlog attempts accepted:
- Bachelor’s degree 3 year: 2 backlog attempts
- Bachelor’s degree 4 year: 4 backlog attempts
- Master’s degree: no restriction
- 10 + 3 Curriculum: 4 backlog attempts
To be eligible you must possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and required courses as noted in the course list.
English Proficiency requirements are:
- A minimum TOEFL Academic Level score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based) or
- an IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.0 (with no single band score below 5.5) or
- CAEL with an overall band score of 60 or
- Cambridge English Test with B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 169 (with no single subscore below 162) or
- Duolingo Language Test with score 105 and above+
- International applicants may be asked to submit an ICAS or WES evaluation.
