Program description
The Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate program at Humber equips you to work with children and their families from birth to age twelve. Through creative learning and simulation experiences, students can anticipate achieving and surpassing the practice-ready knowledge, skills, and attitudes that employers are looking for in ECE graduates in order to benefit children, families, and the community. These activities take place in the Carol Reid Early Childhood Education Lab at Humber as well as the Humber Child Development Center. Participants engage with our picturesque arboretum and playground that draws inspiration from nature, while also learning about cutting edge curricula and responsive, inclusive teaching strategies.
