Program description

Graduates of Humber's Pharmacy Technician diploma program are well-prepared for a variety of pharmacy-related jobs in institutional, industrial, community, and long-term care settings.

Take advantage of small class sizes, knowledgeable instructors who are also practicing pharmacists, and virtual labs where you can get your hands dirty. Experts in the pharmaceutical field will also be speaking as guest speakers.

Legal and ethical obligations, patient care, product distribution, health promotion, knowledge application, communication, intra- and interprofessional collaboration, safety, and other important competency categories are the focus of courses that were developed in collaboration with practicing pharmacists. Through internships and virtual laboratories, students gain practical experience while applying what they learn in the classroom.
