Make a living from your passion for travel, discovery, and adventure! The Tourism - Travel Services Management diploma program at Humber will give you the experience and abilities you need to excel in this fascinating business both at home and abroad.
Our program combines dynamic experience learning with an academic curriculum that adjusts to the ever-changing tourist industry's desired skills and technology requirements. Paying attention to what the industry and our partners need guarantees that our highly sought-after graduates are prepared to handle the challenges of the modern workplace.
During your four semesters of study, you will be able to:
- take part in local field tours that allow for hands-on examination of a wide range of tourism and travel products and adventures
- during guest lectures and events, you can network with industry professionals and alumni
- complete an industry placement, putting newly gained tourist knowledge to use in real-world scenarios and obtaining important job experience
- take advantage of Humber's affiliation with overseas educational institutions that provide student exchange programs and semester or summer abroad study possibilities
- improve your resume by obtaining coveted industry certifications such as TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario) and CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) accreditation

Students entering in September or January will have a one-semester break between the second and third semesters.

Requirements for applicants
International Academic Equivalencies:
- Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum grade of four in required subjects
- Transcripts for any post-secondary courses or programs completed or
- College or university transfer status
For Indian applicants one of the following:
- All India Senior School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Year 12 State Board Exams with a minimum grade of 70 or above in required program subjects.
To be eligible you must possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and required courses.
English Proficiency requirements are:
- A minimum TOEFL Academic Level score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based) or
- an IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.0 (with no single band score below 5.5) or
- CAEL with an overall band score of 60 or
- Cambridge English Test with B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 169 (with no single subscore below 162) or
- Duolingo Language Test with score 105 and above+
- International applicants may be asked to submit an ICAS or WES evaluation.
