Program description
This curriculum prepares students for the rigors of senior management while also allowing them to specialize in a combination of two subjects of study: hotel and tourism. The curriculum emphasizes on organizations' strategic business development, and the Dissertation permits students to self-study and specialize further. This is for students who want to pursue a managerial career in the sector and want to be in the best position to advance quickly.
After each semester of studies, students can participate in a 22-week internship placement. A student must have completed a total of 12 months of placements to finish the BA program.

Each of the blocks above represents a 22-week semester of study. After each semester of study, students can participate in a paid internship in Switzerland or abroad. (The Swiss minimum monthly wage is 2,212 CHF)
Requirements for applicants
- 18 years of age
- Motivation Letter, outlining who you are, why you would like to study at IMI in Switzerland and your plans for your future career in this industry - approx. 500 words
- CV/Résumé in English
- Transcripts/Certificates of your academic qualifications since High School
- Students transferring from recognised hotel management schools must also include official transcripts or records for each semester of their previous course of study
- IELTS 5.0 or equivalent English test results
