Program description

Share information, build relationships, and generate excitement among target audiences using various forms of media.

This semester-long course examines major issues in modern forms of communication, such as the Internet, television, and newspapers.

Students with at least a year of undergraduate study under their belts in fashion communication, promotion, or a related field will benefit greatly from this enlightening short course, which will help them develop and refine their business communication skills and open up new opportunities for their own professional and personal development.

Program structure

Courses are offered twice a year, in autumn and spring.

Requirements for applicants

  • Completed the first year (L4) of an Undergraduate Bachelor programme in Fashion Business or similar;
  • For non English/French/Italian native speakers: certificate of language skills, level b1 of Common European Framework of Reference with specific requirements (e.g. IELTS 5.0 without elements below 4.5);
  • Piece of Written Work/Essay1 ;
  • Good knowledge of marketing.

When considering the suitability of an applicant for a place on the programme the Admissions team will usually take the following factors into account:

  • Signed personal statement;
  • Transcript from an Undergraduate Bachelor programme in Fashion Business or similar;
  • Piece of Written Work;
  • Certificate of the chosen language of the course.

About the university

In 1935, Milanese tailor Giulio Marangoni established Istituto, which by 1942 had evolved into the Scuola Professionale Artistica. While the school's focus was initially on educating pattern makers and seamstresses, it shifted to fashion design, product development, and marketing in the 1970s and 1980s.

The Istituto Marangoni is an exclusive fashion and design institute in Italy.
