Program description
The Masters in Curating Art & Fashion is designed for students who already have a degree or extensive professional experience in the field, and it offers a route into uncharted territory in which curatorship is examined in its entirety, from its origins to its current declination.
Originated as a tool to create critical and theoretical reflection using the object on show, the role of the curator has been fundamentally modified, enabling itself to become lured by the appeal of its own application to other sectors, such as fashion and design.
Since the 1990s, when the art world began to approach fashion in a fresh way, the two disciplines have worked together, presenting an exciting new challenge.

Price
Fee for two semesters (1 year) is 19000.00 EUR for international students.
Enrollment Fee — 5500.00 EUR.
Requirements for applicants
Candidates must have a sufficient command of the English or the chosen language of the course to be able to meet the requirements of the programme in every respect.
When considering the suitability of an applicant for a place on the programme the Admissions team will usually take the following factors into account:
- three years degree or equivalent;
- the applicant’s qualifications;
- the information given in supporting academic references;
- the applicant’s personal statement.
About the university
In 1935, Milanese tailor Giulio Marangoni established Istituto, which by 1942 had evolved into the Scuola Professionale Artistica. While the school's focus was initially on educating pattern makers and seamstresses, it shifted to fashion design, product development, and marketing in the 1970s and 1980s.
