Program description
Foundation Year is for students who don't meet direct entry requirements (English level, school qualifications, etc.) or who want to gain subject or academic confidence before starting their degree.
Guaranteed admission to BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance or Business Management (subject to meeting the required criteria).
The curriculum can be completed in 2 or 3 semesters, depending on past courses and English skills. You'll be ready to start your major at Lancaster University Leipzig after graduation.
There are two progression options available upon successful completion of the Foundation in Business.

Fee for two semesters (1 year) is 16500,00 EUR for international students
Fee for three semesters (1,5 years) is 20000,00 EUR for international students
Requirements for applicants
As example for USA students*:
High School Diploma: GPA 2.0 with at least grade C in Maths/Calculus or 3 in AP Calculus

Foundation entry English requirements
The language of instruction at Lancaster University Leipzig is English. To enter the international foundation year, you must be able to demonstrate you are suitably proficient in English. The table below lists the IELTS results (or equivalent) that you need to enter our courses.
