Program description
You can use the skills you learn in this program to pursue a variety of fascinating and lucrative careers in the fields of cyber security, application and software security, and cyber law enforcement.
One of the biggest problems in today's world is cyber security, and it's only going to get worse as technology advances. Therefore, our program equips you with the breadth and depth of understanding and expertise necessary to tackle and triumph over such obstacles.
You will be required to complete a sizable research project and eight taught courses over your year of study. You can rely on knowledge from four different disciplines with these interdisciplinary courses: computer science, law, sociology, and politics. The technical skills you learn and the specialized information you acquire through these courses will serve you well throughout your professional life. Cybercrime, network and system security, and information system penetration and countermeasures are all topics covered in separate modules.
You will also do an independent research project under the guidance of two faculty members, in addition to the taught courses. This project will provide you a thorough grounding in both the theory and practice of cyber security and technology. You'll get some hands-on experience with real-world cyber security concerns while putting into practice the knowledge and skills you've gained this year.

- Academic requirements - 2:1 Hons degree (UK or equivalent), including degrees in Business and Management Studies, Economics and other Social Sciences and Engineering.
