Program description
Students who pursue a BA Acting and Performance degree receive rigorous training in stage and screen acting, creative composition, as well as theater-making to prepare them for the demands of the entertainment industry.
Every week, first-year acting students dedicate time to working on their text, movement, and voice. All of our students are taught under Jo Estill's Estill Voice Training ® program by our expert voice coaches (EVT). In terms of voice training, EVT comes in first place.
Small and large-scale productions will use your acting skills in scene studies and small and large-scale projects. Learn from the best modern acting training methods while increasing your ability to develop new theater work, and you'll build a varied portfolio of abilities and training that are well suited to the professional, creative world in which you will be working in the future

Requirements for applicants
Entry requirements for Bachelor degree
A successful audition is required for entry to this course. In addition, students will be expected to have achieved at least 112 UCAS points in a level 3 Drama, Theatre or Acting qualification (if you have already completed some studies at another university, we may be able to consider you for advanced entry).
This course is an advanced acting course and not open to students without a level 3 acting qualification or significant acting experience.

- TOEFL IBT (Internet Based Test) Overall score: 80 Minimum scores required in each skill area are: Reading: 18 Listening: 17 Writing: 17 Speaking: 20
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Overall score: 52 (minimum score required in each skill area is 51)
- LanguageCert SELT or International ESOL (IESOL) Exam High Pass Note: for Student Visa the minimum score required in each skill area is 33* (*For C2 Mastery, min score for Listening is 25)
- University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations Overall score: 169 with no score below 162
- Trinity ISE Pass ISE II with Distinction in all 4 components
- Password Overall score: 6.0
