Program description

In addition to preparing students for the SQE, our innovative and engaging LLM Legal Practice program teaches them to think critically and reflectively as legal professionals.

In order to provide students with online-test enhanced learning tools for SQE 1, LSBU has partnered with Barbri, an international leader in online legal education. Through a novel combination of LSBU's in-person instruction and Barbri's online learning materials, students are prepared for practice through innovative experiential learning.

The renowned Legal Advice Clinic at London School of Economics (LSBU) offers students a four-week paid internship. Instead of working in the Clinic, students who are already employed as legal trainees can use their current job.

This course is structured in such a way that students can prepare for the SQE exam in advance. They will also complete a dissertation that will help them develop their critical thinking skills and earn them the LLM in Legal Practice degree.

Education takes place on Southwark Campus
