Program description
Structures are perhaps the most striking and visible manifestations of mechanical principles that we encounter in our daily lives.
When it comes to the design and construction of everything from homes to bridges and skyscrapers, structural engineers bring together a wide range of expertise, creativity, and craftsmanship.
In this program, students learn about advanced structural analysis and design techniques, as well as computer simulations of structural elements such as steel, concrete, and wood.
As a bonus, you'll learn how to create structures that respond to dynamic forces.
