Program description

The BA in Education program at NEC allows you to:

  • Beginning in your first semester and continuing throughout your four years of study in a variety of real-world situations, immerse yourself in the role of a teacher to learn how to become an educator.
  • Learn how to integrate several subject areas and make the curriculum interesting and meaningful.
  • Work together with your faculty to develop successful teaching techniques that involve students and create scaffolding to ensure that every student succeeds.
  • Make the most of your advantages and develop an appreciation for helpful criticism.
  • Encourage content knowledge in ways that are specific to your pupils.
  • Collaborate with experts to develop and learn alongside incredible educators and educational leaders.
  • Recognize and honor educators' ability to influence students' learning in the classroom and for the rest of their lives, whether well or poorly.

Guaranteed Undergraduate Scholarship for Agency Applicants $23,000 (75% for tuition, 25% for housing)

Requirements for applicants

  • Academic Entry Requirement: GPA: 2.5
  • A Completed Application for Admission
  • Official secondary school transcript or records (with English translation if necessary).
  • Copy of a valid passport
  • Proof of financial ability to pay tuition, fees, and living expenses for your first year, after NEC scholarships and financial assistance.  This amount is $33,500 for the 2024–2025 academic year.
