Program description
NYFA's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 3D Animation and VFX program immerses aspiring visual artists in all facets of the industry. The curriculum is an intense visual storytelling practicum in which students recreate the process and pipeline of a professional production by developing unique projects that progressively grow in complexity. Students learn practical skills in the newest software and technology while being guided by teachers with expertise from big companies like as Disney, Dreamworks, Universal, and Netflix.
In this hands-on curriculum, students learn how to integrate essential components of visual storytelling into their projects by examining real-world ideas and methods and understanding how they relate to a computer-generated environment. This allows pupils to present a coherent story using words and graphics, allowing them to emulate reality and photography while also creating more styled artwork. By the conclusion of the program, students will have a demo reel showcasing their ability and skill set.
