Program description

During the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) - Acting for Film program, students develop technical, emotional, and physical acting skills via courses and projects. Throughout their studies, students study advanced methods and stretch their range with the tough curriculum, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zone and acquiring advanced abilities in audition and performance.

In addition to a variety of projects for their reel, students may create, produce, and appear in their own thesis capstone film. The MFA - Acting for Film program is ideal for performers with prior training and experience who want to improve their talents in front of the camera and acquire more understanding of the trade.

Program structure

The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Acting for Film curriculum includes:
