The Master of Arts (Online) - Entrepreneurial Producing and Innovation program at NYFA equips prospective Producers with the skills to think and function at an executive level in the film and television industry. This innovative curriculum enables students to enhance their knowledge and cultivate advanced abilities in business, creativity, leadership, and marketing, while acquiring a worldwide perspective on the cinema, television, and other expanding entertainment sectors.
Utilizing our trademark experiential learning methodology, students get practical instruction by developing an e-portfolio that showcases the array of projects to be created and executed during this three-semester degree program. The curriculum is well suited for enterprising students aspiring to establish their own media enterprises or forge their own entrepreneurial trajectories, including independent producers, influencers, and senior executives. This curriculum is structured to accommodate a virtual classroom experience, enabling students globally to participate and use resources accessible in their respective areas.

About the university

New York Film Academy, known as NYFA, was founded in 1992 by Jerry Sherlock, the executive producer of The Hunt for Red October (1990), as a substitute for conventional university-affiliated film schools. Established to elucidate and democratize the competitive filmmaking business, NYFA aims to provide accessibility to education in the art of filmmaking.
