Program description
In the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) - Screenwriting program, students acquire expertise in cinematic narrative principles and methodologies. In this practical program, students collaborate and learn alongside experienced screenwriters, crafting screenplays and proposals for cinema, television, comic books, games, and online series.
Under the mentoring of our experienced faculty of current industry screenwriters, students develop individually as artists via rigorous writing, learning to comply with project restrictions and accept constructive criticism while preserving their own creative style.
MFA students acquire the skills to create robust, three-dimensional characters and cultivate engaging narrative universes and franchises across many visual mediums. To enhance their expertise in narrative storytelling, students further develop their understanding of filming, acting, and editing.
