Program description

With the help of the Department of Social Sciences and the Business School, you can use this degree to learn about geography and business management.

The course combines the study of both disciplines' foundational material with the chance to concentrate on particular areas of interest through specialized choice modules. Additionally, students will improve their employability and self-awareness.

The chance to complete a work placement is an essential component of the program, and students have the chance to do an interdisciplinary dissertation in their final year of study.

Geographic fieldwork is done locally in the first year of the curriculum and on a residential trip (usually abroad) in the second.

Students who complete this course will have a broad and interdisciplinary education that will prepare them for a variety of careers by combining knowledge of business and management practices with a geographic understanding of current global issues like environmental change, globalization, urbanization, and sustainability.
