Our Nutrition degree examines issues such as:

- organic foods
- the use of food additives
You stay current on new advancements by attending regular nutrition lectures. Additionally, our student-run organization, the Nutrition Society, plans programs and appropriate guest speakers. The Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health (OxBCNH), which was founded to study how food might prevent chronic disease, is located here. This gives our students a strong research ethos and enables our researchers and PhD students to inform our undergraduate teaching.
As media coverage of nutrition-related concerns increases, government measures emphasize increasing diet and exercise. This offers jobs for food-savvy graduates. Our extensive linkages to local and international food and nutrition organizations provide professional options.
Some of our alumni work as nutritionists in hospital labs, health education, local government, and foreign charity. Others work in the food industry's product development department. You can choose to pursue teaching, research, or additional specialized training, such dietetics. The professions of four recent graduates - a dietician at a London hospital, an aid worker for Médecins Sans Frontières, a product development at a company that makes alcopops, and a nutritionist for Jamie Oliver - illustrate the diversity of prospects.
