Program description
Investigate today's youth, families, and kids, and create your practice to value every child.
You will study how children and adolescents develop in the current economic, social, global, and technical contexts in this course. You'll look at important issues affecting kids, teens, and families, like:
- the role of the state in parenting
- the impact of policy on childhood experiences
- how children develop independence
- global approaches to education and care
You will have the skills to confidently support all the kids you work with, no matter what their needs are. You will also be able to recognize and use approaches that are proven by evidence to support each youngster.
As a practitioner, you will research your interests, whether they are improving young children's language skills or comprehending the learning process. You will be introduced to several methods, which could inspire fresh concepts for your own practice.
Additionally, you will graduate knowing how to serve today's families, youth, and children thanks to your newfound understanding of them.
