Program description
Investigate current SEND practices, pedagogies, and policies to build fully inclusive learning environments.
In this course, you will investigate the effects of educational policies and practices on kids with various and additional needs. The most recent inclusion theory and research will be examined.
You will look closely at facts and policies. You will also look into issues like:
- emotional development & attachment
- social, emotional and mental health needs
- speech, language and communication needs
- more complex learner profiles
You will gain a thorough knowledge of strategies supported by evidence that can assist kids with various and additional needs. You will also understand when, how, and where to employ them.
You will learn new things about the culture of your own profession or organization. Additionally, you will be able to construct learning settings with assurance where all kids can feel cared for, like they belong, and succeed.
You will graduate prepared to make a difference in your own practice, the practice of your entire school, or through research.

Specific Entry Requirements

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), other equivalent professional qualification or relevant experience
