Program description
Concentrate on the aspect of primate conservation that most interests you, and get knowledge from eminent conservationists throughout the world.
You will learn a great deal about primates and conservation biology in this course. Your learning experience will be tailored to your interests, whether they are population control, illicit wildlife trading, or habitat destruction. Within our network of field sites in more than 40 countries, you'll engage in fieldwork on a subject that interests you and cooperate on important conservation projects. You'll work with teachers who conduct world-leading research in Asia, South America, and Africa, including Madagascar.
Your tutors have unparalleled expertise on primates, and you can specialise in the topic of your choice within species like:
- Great apes
- Gibbons
- Asian, African and American Monkeys
- Lorises and galagos
- Lemurs
- Tarsiers
