Program description
Distance learning - the course is taken part-time over a 12-month period. Three modules in all will be studied by you. You will take two elective modules in addition to the one required module.
On this PGCert in Childhood and Youth Studies, you will learn how to cherish each child by developing your practice while learning about today's kids, teens, and families. You'll look at how children and adolescents develop in the current economic, social, international, and technological contexts. You will look at important topics affecting families, youth, and children.
You'll have the skills to confidently support all the kids you work with, no matter what their needs are. You'll also be able to recognize and use approaches that are supported by evidence to support each youngster.
You'll be introduced to various methodologies, participate in conversations, and get new inspiration for your own practice. Additionally, you'll graduate knowing how to serve today's families, youth, and children thanks to your newfound understanding of them.
If you decide to take the course online, you'll study using engaging, high-quality online resources, including pre-recorded lectures, online forums, readings, and online workshops at crucial points in the module. You'll have the freedom to study at your own speed.
