Program description
Businesses must effectively manage product/material flows and energy flows throughout their lifecycles, or the so-called "Circular Economy," in order to achieve sustainable development. Therefore, it is necessary for new managerial figures to spearhead the shift in enterprises toward sustainability, which necessitates the innovation of business models.
Evolutionary tendencies have a significant impact on these themes, with major management implications for the organizations concerned. Examples of these trends include the spread of digital technology and the evolution of customers' roles, such as becoming prosumers in the energy value chain. Given this, organizations need new leaders at the top to spearhead their shift to sustainability, which calls for a fundamental overhaul of their corporate structures and methods for executing innovative initiatives.
