Program description
This educational path will enable foreign students who have attended school for 11 years, as well as those who attended an American high school but did not receive the necessary AP credits to enter Italian BA programs, or a British high school but did not receive the required number of A-Level credits to enter Italian BA programs, to integrate the minimal requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Research before enrolling in a university and acquiring the fundamental subjects needed to develop the necessary knowledge in the fields of artistic, audiovisual, multimedia, and design.Additionally, participants will be able to engage with instructors, get knowledge about SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design's training methodologies, integrate theoretical and practical approaches, and investigate design best practices as well as the ideas of research and artistic production.

Requirements for applicants
The candidates are required to submit, by 10 th of October, the application for admission, attaching their high school diploma, along with their “transcript of record” of training activities carried out, Declaration of Value or CIMEA Certificates of Authenticity and Comparability, study visa (if applicable) and English language certificate. SPD reserves the possibility of checking the aptitude and motivation of students before enrolment.
Language Requirements: English level B1/B2 of English.

Founded in Milan in 1954, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design is the first school in Italy dedicated to design disciplines.

It can be proud of its exhibitions at the Carrousel du Louvre, the Biennale di Venezia in 1986, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Medaglia d'Oro at the tenth Triennale in Milan, and even the Compasso d'Oro awarded by the ADI - Associazione Disegno Industriale in 1994. Not to mention the honor of receiving the SMAU prize for Industrial Design twice.
