Program description
You will be prepared to make an impact on how companies manage their interconnected systems when you complete this two-year certificate program in business information technology. You will be able to assess the present and future demands of a company's IT department, come up with innovative solutions utilizing the right programming languages, databases, and data sources, and then put those plans into action in the cloud. In addition, you will be well-versed in networking and programming, which will equip you to work well both alone and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in any field.
During the optional work period of this program, you will have the opportunity to put your abilities into practice and acquire significant job experience in the IT industry. An enterprise initiative will also provide you with the chance to innovate.

Requirements for applicants
Academic Requirements:
- Ontario university/college degree, college diploma, advanced diploma or equivalent. Applicants with an equivalent combination of partial postsecondary and related work experience may be considered for admission. A relevant resumé and references must be provided.
English Proficiency Requirements:
If English is not your first language, show one of the following:
- Minimum of two years full-time study in an English-speaking nation
- Minimum one year of full-time postsecondary education in an English-speaking nation
- Successful completion of an intense English program like the English Language Institute
- English proficiency exam results from one of the international testing agencies. Only two-year-old tests are valid.
English language test score requirements
- CAEL CE and CAEL online - Minimum 60
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First/FCE, C1 Advanced/CAE or C2 Proficiency/CPE) - Minimum 169 with no skill below 162

About the university
