Program description
Immerse yourself in a year of intense, professional-level instruction in documentary filmmaking under the tutelage of a faculty of Emmy- and Cine Golden Lion winners and other industry heavyweights in this graduate certificate program. You will study the ins and outs of documentary production, from brainstorming ideas to pitching, filming, editing, marketing, and distribution, all based on the three pillars of creativity, technology, and industry.
During your time as a graduate of this program, you will have the opportunity to work as a director, producer, cinematographer, and editor on your very first documentary film. You will be involved in research and development in pre-production, principal photography in production, and editing in post-production.

Academic Requirements:
- Postsecondary diploma or degree or equivalent
English Proficiency Requirements:
If English is not your first language, show one of the following:
- Minimum of two years full-time study in an English-speaking nation
- Minimum one year of full-time postsecondary education in an English-speaking nation
- Successful completion of an intense English program like the English Language Institute
- English proficiency exam results from one of the international testing agencies. Only two-year-old tests are valid.
