Program description
After completing this two-year diploma program, you will be well-equipped to strike out on your own as a creative entrepreneur in any number of fields that value original, high-quality visual material. Incorporating visual communication strategies—with a heavy focus on social media—it builds on the fundamentals of photography, videography, and narrative to equip you for a prosperous career.
Studios and on-location photography are just two parts of the program's cutting-edge curriculum, which also covers a broad variety of current applications and technologies. As a result, you may build a solid grounding in both analogue and digital media. Virtual reality (VR), AI-generated images, and drone photography are just a few of the new visual content technologies that you'll learn about.
A one-of-a-kind capstone project combining photography, moving images, and alternative media will allow you to hone your abilities, unleash your imagination, and build a solid portfolio that can be utilized for your professional journey.

Requirements for applicants
Academic Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant
- English: Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent course
English Proficiency Requirements:
If English is not your first language, show one of the following:
- Minimum of two years full-time study in an English-speaking nation
- Minimum one year of full-time postsecondary education in an English-speaking nation
- Successful completion of an intense English program like the English Language Institute
- English proficiency exam results from one of the international testing agencies. Only two-year-old tests are valid.

About the university
