Program description
Students in the Business Fundamentals course get an introduction to the business world that is both comprehensive and open-ended.
The course introduces students to the fundamentals of running a company, including Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, company Mathematics, and Business Communications.
In conjunction with a student's existing education and/or work experience, this curriculum can serve as a launchpad to the professional world. Students who are interested in starting their own businesses can learn the basics with just the Business Fundamentals diploma. Further formal education, such as our diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degrees, can be pursued after completing this curriculum.

Admission requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level
English Proficiency requirements are:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 83
- TOEFL Computer-based Test - 220
- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL. In-person or Online)* - overall 60
- EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency)* - pre 1
- The Michigan English Test* - Overall 62 with no individual score below 60, ECCE/ECPE 650 or higher
- Cambridge English Proficiency* - 180
- Duolingo (Temporarily accepted)* - 115
- Pearson Test of English -Academic (Online & In-person) - 60
