Program description
In Business Fundamentals, students are given a broad exposure to the business world. Students will learn the basics of accounting, marketing, human resources, business mathematics, and business communications.
This course of study, when coupled with the student's prior academic and/or professional expertise, can serve as a springboard into the job market. Those who want to learn the fundamentals of beginning their own businesses can do so with just the Business Fundamentals certificate. After finishing this program, you will be prepared to continue your education at any of our accredited colleges and universities and earn a certificate, advanced diploma, or degree.

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level
English Proficiency requirements are:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 83
- TOEFL Computer-based Test - 220
- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL. In-person or Online)* - overall 60
- EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency)* - pre 1
- The Michigan English Test* - Overall 62 with no individual score below 60, ECCE/ECPE 650 or higher
- Cambridge English Proficiency* - 180
- Duolingo (Temporarily accepted)* - 115
- Pearson Test of English -Academic (Online & In-person) - 60
