Program description
Advertising is a creative, interesting, and fascinating career. We teach students to understand customer psyche and create marketing messages that affect target consumers. Do you love internet media? Do you appreciate ideas, persuasion, and business creativity? You might like advertising.
This program's experiential learning opportunities and small class numbers prepare students for a future in advertising and marketing communications, where there are labour shortages. This creates many jobs!
You'll build your abilities in an Apple-based communications center with access to the latest industry software, including MAC OS apps, Final Cut Pro digital video editing software, Microsoft Office for Mac, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level

- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (SDS requires an overall 6.0, with no band less than 6.0)
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 78
