Program description
Behavioural Science is for those who desire to work in the burgeoning field of applied behavior analysis. The Behavioural Science program has taught students to work front-line with a wide range of client demographics for over 40 years. Students learn to plan and implement behavioral interventions to teach skills and/or minimize problematic behaviors.
Students should want to work with people with complex behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and/or psychological disorders. They should be comfortable working with disruptive and/or intellectually challenged populations. Students must be prepared to do practicum with any of the client demographics. Our curriculum trains students in specific therapy strategies that can be applied to any individual with issues, not just one client type.
