Game programming is a multibillion-dollar business that is one of the world's fastest growing. The video game industry requires skilled programmers who can write optimized and efficient code for PCs, gaming consoles, web pages, cell phones, and other devices. Game - Programming is for you if you are creative and enjoy having control over the action.
The program content introduces you to fundamental gaming principles such as C++, C#, scripting languages, web development, and database storage strategies. You will master mathematical calculations for advanced programming techniques such as graphics and artificial intelligence. (artificial intelligence) and multiplayer networked gaming. Examining and implementing 3-dimensional games utilizing industry standard libraries and game engines will enhance your knowledge. In addition to adequate documentation and team interactions, portability, modularity, and efficiency of code are stressed at all stages of education.
Game Programming graduates gain a solid foundation in software design methodology and programming.

Admission requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 12 Math at the C, U or M level

- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (SDS requires an overall 6.0, with no band less than 6.0)
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 78

- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL. In-person or Online)* - overall 60
- EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency)* - pre 1
