Program description
The Hairstyling diploma program provides students with practical, theoretical, and experiential learning opportunities that will prepare them for a rewarding career in the Hairstyling business. Our students learn and practice all aspects of hairstyling, including haircutting, styling, chemical services, and hair extensions, as well as career preparation and business operations.
Our teachers and staff are a collection of highly trained, skilled professionals with years of expertise in both the hairstyling and educational industries, and many of our professors are program graduates. Our faculty team is constantly updating their abilities in order to provide our students with the most up-to-date hairstyling techniques and trends in order to prepare them for this ever-changing market.

Admission requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math
English Proficiency requirements are:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (SDS requires an overall 6.0, with no band less than 6.0)
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 78
