Program description
A career in office work is demanding, exciting, and fast-paced. You can be needed to build/maintain a website, create flyers, or create a newsletter in a regular office setting.
Understanding how to use the Internet for information, booking flights, and email processing is unavoidable. You will also be expected to manage desktop publishing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and electronic word processing.
Employers place a great emphasis on "soft skills," which are taught in this program. Examples of "soft skills" include the ability to manage your time, properly greet guests, and answer the phone.

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math
English Proficiency requirements are:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic - Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (SDS requires an overall 6.0, with no band less than 6.0)
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) or Home Edition - 78
- TOEFL Computer-based Test - 213
- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL. In-person or Online)* - overall 60
- EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency)* - pre 1
- The Michigan English Test* - Overall 58 with no individual score below 56, ECCE/ECPE 650 or higher
