Program description
Programme Objectives
This curriculum intends to train a new generation of professionals for Hong Kong's and the region's rapidly growing hotel industry. The program will cover a wide range of hotel topics, including food and beverage management, front office and housekeeping management, hotel revenue management, and staff development and training, to provide students with strong theory as well as practical knowledge and skills in hotel operations management. This curriculum will also assist students in identifying and strengthening their professional goals by combining classroom information with hands-on experience in real-world hotel environments through internship opportunities.
Career Prospects
Graduates who have gained relevant operational experience in the hotel / hospitality industry will be able to take on managerial positions such as restaurant manager, catering manager, front office manager, housekeeping manager, or revenue manager in local, regional, or global hotel / hospitality companies (for example, hotel and resort companies, conference and exhibition centers, private and country clubs, and theme parks).

About the university

The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) was founded in 2012 and is a Vocational Training Council (VTC) member institute.
