Program description
The primary goal of the M.S. major in Data Analytics and Information Systems is ensuring that graduates can employ appropriate data analysis techniques and state-of-the-art information technologies to obtain relevant business intelligence. To facilitate data-driven decision-making, the proposed program will equip students with a comprehensive understanding of information technology and data analysis techniques. The degree program's curriculum will equip students with the technical know-how needed for DSA positions. Data management, structured query language, R and Python programming, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, machine learning, statistical computing, big data analysis, and data visualization are examples of both information systems and data analytics competencies.
