Program description
Use the power of game theory, financial tools, and research to launch a job with influence and join a profession that is in demand in every industry.
Students are introduced to the foundational corpus of knowledge in the field through the Economics Major. Additionally, students become better at planning, industry analysis, pricing, cost-benefit, and program analysis. They gain knowledge of how markets function, which helps with all aspects of corporate decision-making. Finally, they gain the ability to evaluate the economics of the regulatory process and how companies respond to the regulatory landscape. The use of fundamental economic instruments in policy fields is emphasized.
You'll learn to spot trends and patterns that can be turned into opportunities by employing various economic instruments. Convert those findings into forecasts and recommendations that can assist organisations in making money, saving money, moving forward, and even changing the world.
If you love math or have strong math skills, you might be a good fit for studying economics. This specialisation entails data analysis and interpretation on a regional, national, and worldwide scale.
