Program description
A demanding curriculum that prepares students for positions as managers and entrepreneurs in today's global business climate.
Graduates of the programme may work as directors in a large Canadian or American corporation's international subsidiary, or as overseas sales representatives or product managers. Finance graduates may find work as loan officers for the Export Development Corporation or as equity or bond analysts with a major financial institution's global investing section.
International business professionals need to make a commitment to learning about the world, its people, and their cultures for the rest of their lives. In addition to improving their performance, having this knowledge demonstrates their respect for the diverse members of the new economy. Respect breeds friendship, and friendship breeds successful, long-lasting business relationships.
Many students are anticipated to pursue the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation after graduation, demonstrating their dedication to the emerging field of international trade. Students will be well-prepared to enter one of the many graduate programs in international business after gaining important work experience, and some may choose to pursue careers in teaching and research at the college or university level.

Requirements for applicants
- Grade 12 or mature student status
- Foundations Mathematics 12 or Pre-calculus 12 with minimum C+ (or equivalent)
- English Studies 12/English First Peoples 12 with a minimum of 73% (or equivalent)
