Program description
Do you enjoy asking probing questions? Looking for solutions? A Bachelor of Science can help you excel if you are fascinated by the natural world, science, and technology. A BSc is a good starting point for pre-med, graduate studies, or a direct path to a rewarding career. TRU provides early access to research and allows you to begin your own original research project as early as year three of your studies—excellent options for making your resumé or graduate school application stand out.
We believe that interests should be broadened rather than narrowed. The BSc's flexibility allows you to study topics outside of your chosen specialisations while gaining both depth and breadth in your science education. A significant number of graduates have gone on to pursue graduate studies and have received NSERC scholarships to do so.
- Improve your communication and computer literacy skills.
- Take advantage of research opportunities early in your undergraduate studies.
- Get a solid scientific foundation.
- Develop and improve your critical thinking abilities.
