Program description
Combine the power of game theory, financial tools, and study to create a super degree.
A mathematics and economics major trains you to use, mathematics, economic tools and research data to make sense of the world. You can make forecasts and recommendations to help organisations better their operations in ways that will benefit them financially and possibly benefit humanity more widely by analysing trends and patterns and building mathematical models.
Economics enables you to turn theory into something real. You get to shape the future by running cost-benefit analyses on questions like "What if?" and "Why not?" to arrive at real choices that organisations can choose from.
If you love math or have strong math abilities, you might be a good fit for the math and economics major. This specialty entails the analysis and interpretation of variables and data pertaining to specific organisations as well as the regional, national, and worldwide economies.
