Program description
A Bachelor of Communication Design degree gives the skills and knowledge needed to graphically transmit information across a variety of media, utilising a variety of methodologies, tools, and technology from related fields. This course, taught by industry experts such as brand and design consultants, graphic designers, and creative directors, covers strategic thinking, brand strategy, customer experience design, and service design.
The course delves into the theory and practise of information design, from basic concepts to sophisticated visuals, and from traditional print work to cutting-edge digital design. You'll study about the fundamentals of typography as well as idea development, digital media, design research, information design, and other topics. In the Design Studio subject, you'll cooperate with other students, much like you would in a real-world studio, to create practical and effective solutions that are suitable for their target audience.
A double degree with a Bachelor of Business is also available.
