Program description
The Bachelor of Nursing programme will prepare you for a career as a Registered Nurse by teaching you vital evaluation and clinical decision-making skills as well as building a person-centered, professional approach to care. With a bachelor's degree in nursing, you can work in healthcare, industry, or the community.
This degree, taught over three years using modern and evidence-based methodologies, covers core human biology and research practise, vital clinical knowledge and abilities, and how to put patients first. You will gain the required skills and knowledge to register and confidently begin working in a number of different healthcare and community contexts as a result of your training at our on-campus simulation hospital environment and 840 hours of clinical assignments. The Bachelor of Nursing Enrolled Nurse pathway permits you to attend our Bachelor of Nursing programme in the second year, whilst other alternatives for Bachelor of Nursing prerequisites include an ATAR of 60 or work-life experience.
Main Intake 3 applicants must have a completed (current) Diploma of Nursing and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Requirements for applicants
Admission Criteria
- Australian Year 12 with ATAR 60 or equivalent or a completed Diploma of Nursing and registration with AHPRA;
- Inherent requirements include ethical behaviour, behavioural stability, legal, communication, cognition, sensory ability, and strength and mobility
English Language Proficiency
- IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7.0 minimum (Academic Module) or above, with no skills band less than 7.0.
