Program description
A Graduate Certificate of Education (Mental Health) offers advanced knowledge and abilities in three areas: anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. It enhances both understanding and ability to directly use positive support services in a variety of learning situations.
You will gain a grasp of the concerns that mainstream teachers encounter in their educational practises, as well as increased knowledge and skills in assisting individuals with mental health challenges. This course provides a model of assistance and flexibly personalised learning to meet the needs of individual students. Because this is not an official Australian Initial Teacher Education course, the student is not qualified to teach in Australia.
