Program description
The Graduate Diploma in Public Health equips health professionals with advanced knowledge to improve population health and well-being. It focuses on the socioeconomic determinants of health, preparing you to address disparities for Australia's and the world's most disadvantaged populations. Following graduation, you will have the choice of continuing your work in public health or pursuing the Master of Public Health.
This graduate diploma will provide you with the information and abilities you need to handle public health issues. You'll learn about contemporary global and environmental health concerns, health policy, systems, and economics, as well as social, behavioural, and cultural health determinants. The course teaches skills such as public health programme planning, implementation, and assessment, health promotion and disease prevention techniques, advocacy, statistics and epidemiology, and analytical and communication skills.
